I've been trying to expand my bass fishing techniques here lately and went out and bought some shaky head jig heads and fished them with a zoom trick worm. Good news is that they worked like a charm. Caught 5 bass in the first 20 min of fishing. Bad news is that I kept getting hung up and lost all my shaky heads. I've fished Texas rigged worms for years and never had that much trouble working the bait through cover. I rigged the shaky heads weedless just like I rig my Texas rigged worms. What am I doing wrong? Any tips?

Neighborhood pond around some grass and laydowns.

You're not doing anything wrong. Losing jigs happens.

go lighter on the jigheads...u will still lose em sometimes, especially in cypress roots, but that is a deadly setup...the angle is different from a Tex rig in the way it's setup, u will lose them sometimes...especially in cover
