No chance in hell this happens, because even if we are a 4 seed it means we'd have beaten 2 of the 3 out of UK, Florida and Vandy

No it wouldn't. If we are the 4 seed, our first game would likely be against the 5 seed. Then the semifinal would be 1v4 and 2v3.

So no, losing in the finals would mean we only beat one of those teams.

BUT.... Making the SEC Tournament championship and losing would put us at 22-11 with wins over two top 10 teams. We'd absolutely be in.

Better hope Vandy goes 1-3 down the stretch.

Didn't know they had to play Kentucky and Florida.

Yeah and it's at Kentucky and Tennessee. I think Florida can get a win in Nashville.

Vandy is pretty much the anti-clutch of college basketball. It could happen.

I'm more worried about us though. Winning these last four is pretty unlikely. We struggle on the road. I doubt we win the Ole Miss game.

That's true. Nothing matters if we don't win out. I'm still hoping Ole Miss folds. They already got in a fight.

Auburn isn't good but they're pretty good at home. LSU's shown they play well at home so I think we can take Tennessee. I've already penciled in the Georgia win.

2-2 or 4-0 are probably the most likely scenarios. Lose to Ole Miss and they'll probably be flat for the Auburn game.

Better chance at the SEC bye than the Dance at the moment, though attaining the first is almost a necessity to have a shot at the second. Tigers are currently in the 60's with their RPI and in the 40's with their SoS. If they win out they'll likely be in the low 50's with their RPI and still in the 40's with their SoS. Two wins in the SEC tourney would still be needed at that point to go dancing. Given the teams they would likely have to overcome in NO that would push their RPI into the 40's and the SoS possibly into the upper 30's. I think they'd get in at that point but that's obviously a longshot from here. Great shot at getting into the NIT which is still a huge step up from the past two seasons.

Finishing 20-10 (10-6) going into the tournament, getting a 1st round bye, winning a game, losing to Kentucky, and finishing 21-11 still probably won't be enough.

I think this gets us in as a 9 or 10 seed.

nope.

a 13 seed IF they get in. 13 seeds have to play a play in game against each other.
