My message to LSU's defense (It's long & don't give a $h!+ that it is)

To LSU's defense, I applaud your persistence past the point to which most players would have continued to struggle, knowing their efforts were in vain. You held off mUlligAn & kept the game w/i a 2 possession deficit until less than 5 min. left in the game. You did everything that a person could realistically expect short of forcing 2 turnovers & returning both for TDs. Sadly, even if you had accomplished those, I'm sure the offense would've botched the 2 pt conversion for a tied score. Les Miles, the offensive squad & their coaches failed their responsibilities by recycling a plan to use option plays that the everyone knew that mUlligAn would spend 6 weeks to overcome. LSU defense, you deserved more than that Curley-Hallman-esque performance by everyone associated w/ the offense.

The defense played well enough for us to win, specifically in the redzone. If we had a SINGLE OUNCE of offense they could have played EVEN BETTER.

They spent 49 minutes on the field. 49 minutes. There is not a single defense in this world that can hold up a game for that long without the offense doing a thing.

i was extremely proud of those young men on the field in P&G...they work hard, have excellent defensive coaches, and follow direction...as long as they were on the field Monday nite (49 min), my hat's off to Coach Moffitt and his nutrition and conditioning programs at LSU...

Yeah the offense only had it for 11 minutes. Just baffles my mind that a coach would allow that to happen.

No idea where you got this from

Time of possession was 35 for Alabama 24 for LSU

11 minutes or 24 minutes is irrelevant. What is relevant is the question "Why?" What was CLM thinking? His QB of choice was totally unprepared and unable to do anything productive. JL and Mett on the bench, rotting. CLM frozen in indecision. Priceless if you are Bama. Beyond belief if you are LSU.

Holding the tide to a field goal on mostly every possession was incredible really. Their running game was average. The passing game had a couple spectacular plays. Let's not brush off the fact that they were on the field ALL damn game
