I don't get it....didn't the Saints embarass SF in the preseason...

Before you get going...I know it was the preseason, but still...didn't we learn anything about this team in the preseason?? There should be some comfort in knowing the preseason plan worked pretty well....and how in the hell did SF make so much improvement....shocking

SF has played 16 meaningful games since then. I think there may be a slight possibility that they got better.

I will say that SF is very poor against the blitz. If this is the game where crazy kamikaze Gregg Williams blitzes off his rocker, it should work

And that was the very first game they could work as a unit together. The lockout had just ended with a new HC. Not to mention it was preseason. It has no significance. The last time the Saints played 49ers(last year), we made Alex Smith look like a superstar...
