I am hoping some of you on here who happen to live in Tuscaloosa can give me some feedback here. A few of us are hoping to tailgate in Tuscaloosa and then watch the game from our tailgate. But we will be using an amplified digital antenna, which we use at home tailgates.

The towers are obviously very close in BR, but there the CBS tower is in Birmingham. Can anyone living there in Tuscaloosa tell me if they are able to get the CBS affiliate over the air there. Thanks.

Going to have to bring the 10 footer.. Regular Antenna.. My 10 footer regular antenna picks up HD tv excellently.

I am fully aware of sites like antennaweb.org and have used those sites for other games. Nothing is more reliable than feedback from people who are actually in an area.

Thanks dsbroussard, that is a site I actually hadn't seen. Looks like a weak signal according to it. Whereas antennaweb.org shows no signal.

Yeah John, we have a few antennas we bring on the road trips. Hopefully one will do the job.

Read that chart.

They say it is a weak to no signal with a 30 foot high antenna....

Yes, I know. Based on that we should be good to go as we have typically picked up channels like that. Still hoping to hear form someone in Tuscaloosa.

CBS affiliate here is out of channel 42 in Birmingham. Your gonna have to have a pretty good strong antenna.... they have a very weak signal unlike the abc nbc and fox affiliates out of Bham. I dont think you should have a problem u just may not have a real good picture. To me if you somehow got access to a direct tv satellite dish and a reciever box that would be the better option. JMO

Have several good antennas we will have so we'll try them all. Yep, we wish a dish was available to us, but none of us have one. Here's to hoping for the best. Really appreciate the feedback. Worst case scenario we will all take over a Bama tailgate that has a dish.
