Here's to you, Matt Millen, who did all of 2 seconds worth of headline reading from August about the 2011 LSU football team to think you are qualified to do an actual preview.

ESPN hates research

Actually, he makes really good points. I agree LSU cant split drives between quarterbacks and wasting drives that way when facing really good teams.

He is looking at it like a pro football guy. The 2 QB system does not work in the NFL.

I think Hanna feels the same - she seemed down right perplexed at his "analysis".

It doesn't work much in college either.

The lady was more knowledgeable than that putz. Lee got his chance because the other guy made a mistake. If JJ were better, he would be starting, period end of story. He is not starting, why because they already using the best guy...

Miles has said several times that Lee is the starter and JJ would get some snaps too.

Maybe I'm wrong, but a 2 QB system would be one that both QB's get about an equal amount of drives in a game. Lee is statistically one of the better QB's in the country (like in efficiency and TD to INT ratio, etc.).

I don't comment over here much, but I gotta agree. That was retarded. The girl made better points than Matt Millen. The two QBs have worked well for y'all and it does give us more to prepare for, definitely.

Thank you NATidefan. Good point. Finally a rational Bama fan.

Wait a minute...you must not be a Bama fan then...

Oh no, I'm a bama fan. I don't agree with 2 QBs sharing time usually. But in a round about way you have kind of got a Chris Leak / Tebow thing going on. With Lee as Leak and Jefferson as Tebow. Not exactly, but kind of.

NATidefan: just messin' with ya!

If a team wins with 2 QB's, then it works. If not, it doesn't. If Matt Millen would have said that LSU can be beaten, but it would take Nick Saban suiting up Chuck Norris, at least it would be creative.

Problem is, Chuck Norris is an obvious LSU fan.

Why does everyone act like we're still working the kinks out for QB? It looks like its going pretty well if you ask me...

Problem is, Chuck Norris is now a fictional character, he is actually Trent Richardson dressed up as Chuck Norris.

Been this way for years, since Chuck Norris decided to go back in time to a far away galaxy and become a Jedi Master. Only way he could advance his master's black belt.

Why is that? Solely because we are winning?

Is there any proof that it is better than just having Lee out there? Or just Jordan out there?

Honestly, I don't really see how it is beneficial.

How about #10 passing efficiency in the nation.
#1 Red Zone efficiency.
#1 in Turnovers.
JL has a higher QB rating than AJM
Beating top notch teams by double digits
JJ's maneuvering abilities speak for themselves. I have yet to see any indication that having two QBs is hurting the other QB. They both get their shots and they both make huge plays. And Les even said JL is our starting QB. It's done. No controversy.

It's all just blown out of proportion. I guess if you look in the grand scheme of things, QB is one of our weaker positions just because it isn't the same caliber as the rest of the team. But its far from an issue.

Ok I'll break it down. Yes, its better than just having JL.
1.) Our offense has gotten better with the addition of JJ. The highlight reals, scoreboards, and stats show that.
2.) I think we both know its better to have both QBs than just Jordan. We all know how JL had to bail us out of bad places several times last year. If it wasn't for him, we might have lost 2 or more games than we did.
3.) I think there's no arguing its great to have depth at QB. Think about Auburn last year when Nick Fairly took out both of our QBs almost consecutively. We were stuck with some random kid no one ever heard of before. That didn't turn out so well. We now have great depth at even QB!
-JL gets hurt, send in an equally experienced QB, JJ
-JJ gets hurt, send in a very talented QB with some playing experience, Mett
-Mett gets hurt, send in a very athletic and talented freshman, Randal
-Randal gets hurt, send in the super tall and supposedly accurate freshman, Rivers. (this is where things start to get ugly, but you get the point).

What I'm trying to say is, it's a non-issue.
