The way I see it, Weis should know that Driskel will likely not have much success in the air on Saturday.

I'm expecting lots of Wildcat with Reed, Rainey, and others taking snaps at QB.

This makes me a bit nervous.

What do yall think?

I think that Driskel will have a bad day.

The coaching staff already knows about the wildcat with Burton and Reed.

We'll see it. How much success they have with it? Remains to be seen.

Personally, I don't see it doing much. Put a rope on Demps and Rainey. That's their game.

Debose is pretty darn good. They can utilize him in various ways.

I agree. He burned us last year on a return.

But if the guy driving the truck can't get the ball to him, that's a problem.

I don't see it happening, I really don't.

I'm not worried about reed at all. As far as the wildcat we shut Oregon down. And that was with a QB who could throw.

montgomery, edwards, mingo, adams, ferguson, johnson, baker, hatcher, mathieu, reed, simon, taylor, loston, claiborne, downs, francois, muncie, brockers, and logan.

Here is why LSU shouldn't be too worried about the wildcat. If it does succeed at first these men will shut it down and the swamp people will have gator stew for lunch yayayaya.

Worked very well in 2006, 2008, 2009, and frankly in 2007 too.

I expect to see as much Jordan Reed as Driskell.

Great posts. Thx. I'm sure we'll be ready. Historically, it just seems like we struggle with mobile qb's regardless of throwing ability. This defense is special, though. Guess, we'll find out soon enough.

Hasn't he missed a few games due to injury? I doubt he takes snaps at QB if so

Not happening. Burton and Reed aren't going to be seen in the QB position, unless its wildcat. Reed is a TE now, and I haven't seen him in wildcat all year. Burton has ran the zone read and wildcat a few times so, UF might run some of that.

I expect a lot of easy throws for Driskel, kind of like how Weis got Brantley into the Tennessee game. Of course, if UF can't run the ball, Weis may have to say frick it, and open up the playbook to give our offense a chance to move it.
