Had some there for lunch on Tuesday, and they were pretty good. Size good, clean, just not quite as salty as they might be later. Chimes and Mike Anderson's usually safe bets as well.

I'll have my first taste on Wednesday. I'm expecting, or hoping, for the same. It'd be nice to have that mouth twisting saltiness....but that ain't happening this early in the Fall.

I love hitting Chimes or Parrains on Tuesdays when they are half price. I am intrigued that someone posted a happy hour special on them at Stroubes, and that is on my to-do list when it gets a little later in the season.

Martini said he would spring for a sack if someone wanted to come help open them, so I have knife in hand waiting for him to set a date.

Had some at the Chimes a couple weeks ago. They were plump and salty.
