Looks like outside of few games no body can stop no body. Going to have to stop all the rule changes on the defense or I as one will lose intrest in the NFl. It's slanted to the offense much next thing you'll know they will be playing flag football

Week one was ridiculous.
Chad Henne threw for over 400 yards and ran for another 59.
We had four 400+ yard passers.
Rex Grossman threw for over 300.
I was looking at my fantasy league and the point totals were ridiculous. WAY higher than 5 years ago.

Only when their revenues decline will the NFL owners club ever see fit to listen to the fans concerning any rule changes

And yet the Falcons still only scored 12 points...

Or maybe a lack of training camp has affected defenses moreso than offenses.
The NFL is fine. The offense will drop and the defense will rise as the season progresses.

I definitely believe it's effected defenses more. Tackling has been poop.

McNabb was something like 7/15 for 39 yds

I don't understand that. I know you're going to rely on AP a lot, but those Mark Sanchez rookie year numbers.

Don't rule out conditioning. Lack of conditioning would hurt defenses players more. DL not getting to the QB quick enough, DBs not reacting quick as they would when they are exhausted.

lack of conditioning and a HUGE decrease in full contact practices this offseason are certainly contributory facors

That's because McNabb sucks.

Its the stupid rule changes, linemen and linebackers cant touch the QB. DBs can barely breathe on receivers. I think TEs have gotten a lot better over the years which puts the traditional defenses at a disadvantage.

Is that you, Mr. Limbaugh?
But, yeah, McNabb sucks.

Exactly.
With a MUCH shorter offseason coupled with running preseason games in the normal fashion (starters play a half or less per game), defenders are no where near their peak shape--yet.
