I would like to acknowledge and dedicate this thread to the greatness that is Moon's.

If you don't know, Moon's Grocery is located between Homer and Summerfield (home to the great Karl Malone) but the t-shirt says Antioch, LA (long story).

It is part liquor store, convenient store, gas station, deli, rib shack and steakhouse. Where else do you find a place like that?!?!

Some say it is the best ribeye they have ever had. I don't know if I would go that far even though they are damn good. I do know, however, that heading to Moon's always leads to having a good time.

Found this through Google

Went through a "town" in Wyoming years ago, and needed gas as the tank was fumes. Cold as hell day in early March. The gas station I pull into is a gas station, post office, grocery store, restaurant, bar/pool hall and is the onlydamn building I can see and nothing else for miles.

Damn, that looks incredible. I'll definitely check it out, if I'm ever in the area.

Fair Warning: The ribeyes are only served in the evening. You have to get there early (5-6 pm). It quickly gets crowded. Pork ribs are served for lunch. I've heard some people have been able to get breakfast if you're a sweet talker.

In Grosse Tete. It's called Leroy's. Add bar to the mix and you've got Leroy's.

Been to Moon's a lot back in a former life. Didn't realize they had steaks.
