I haven't seen this mentioned in the other Hill threads. No matter the legal issues involved, isn't he going to be expelled from school and therfore could not be eligible(sp?) for graduation and college enrollment?

I'm pretty sure they can, a couple kids got expelled from my HS this late in the year and transferred to public schools and graduated.

His academics are fine. He probably needs a couple of core classes, but that's it. There are many reasons why I doubt we see him at LSU, but his academic situation should be easier to work out, even with expulsion, than guys like Loston, Eddie Lacy, etc.

He may be allowed to finish at home, if that is an option redemptorist offers. I have a friend whose son was accused of rape in his senior year of high school, he was arrested at the beginning of the spring semester and expelled from school immediately.
Since the legal process was ongoing, he was allowed to complete most of his classes on line. Also, I think there are some schools set up specifically for kids that have behavioral problems or have been expelled from other schools.
Anyway, my friends son was able to graduate on time. Thankfully, after the investigation was complete, the charges were dropped. All of this still cost the kid his scholarships etc., but at least he did not go to jail.

He can definitely transfer immediately to another school and still graduate on time.
I had a friend who was expelled from RHS a month before graduation and he ended up at Tara and graduated on time.
