i still havent paid my property taxes for this year, and have never filed for homestead exemption.
its already 2-3 months late. but can i still go in and file for exemption even if im late and they can readjust my final number?
can i just bring my property tax invoice/bill in there to file, if so? or do i need something else??

The taxes are for last year not this year. The exemption would be for this year.

It took me 3 years to file my exemption. I recieved checks back from the state for every year I overpaid though.

Easy. took my invoice in to the office in BR on coursey by chimes east. Filled out a little form which took 15 minutes. The lady processed it and 6 weeks later checks started rolling in
