Taking a LLoET (east texas)to the show next weekend at the Woman's Department Club (Shreveport Little Theatre). Reccomendations on a romantic place to eat in the area? TIA

Olive St Bistro is real close to the Theater. Is there a budget in mind for dinner?

You might be pushing it with Olive St on a $75 budget. You can do it if you're careful and you don't like several drinks with dinner. My wife and I like to drink, so we usually don't get out of there for less than $100-125. Here's the website, which includes the menu. LINK
There's a Bistro Byronz within a few miles of the Women's Dept. Never had a bad meal there and I think it's a pretty nice place to take a date. Not too formal, but not too casual either. Prices are good. There are probably a few more that aren't coming to mind right now, but either me or one of the other S'port residents will come up with plenty to choose from.

Thx. Lets forget the $75, just threw that out there. If you had to pick somthing in that area, is Olive St. the place?

Wine Country is one of my favorite places in town.... i suggest:
Wine Country (mixture of steak, seafood, specials)
Superior Steakhouse (Steak)
Ernest's (old creole feel)
Bistro 6301 (mixture - international)
Olive Street Bistro (italian)
Superior Mex/Cantina Laredo (mexican)

This is definitely true, but if you're trying to impress, then I wouldn't go to the Cub. There's not much to it, and it definitely isn't "a nice place"

Olive Street Bistro is great and $75 will not be a problem for two diners. The wife and I have never had a bill there over 50.
