It boils down to some of you are hypocrites. It has been said many times over this board that Miles needs to leave the playcalling to the OC. Lat night Miles was crucified on this board for not calling or ordering a running play on first down on Ole Miss 31 yd line. Miles suggested this type of play to Crowton but instead called for JJ to roll to his righttherefore turning his back to his blind side. The fact is simple, Gary Crowton hamstrung his QB by asking a 19 with very little experience to execute a difficult play. Miles is guilty of doing what most of you hypocrites didn't want him to do and that is simply taking the decision out of Crowtons hands and going with his gut and running two plays up in the line to setup the kicker for a game winning kick.

I couldn't believe it when JJ The Cripple ran the ball on 3rd and 10.

Exactly why asked in another thread who's responsibility it was to have the team on the same page on the last drive with little time and no timeouts. I didn't want to go that route because you are basically right. You can't say you want Les to let Crowten run the offense and then turn around and say that you want Les to order Crowten to do something. Although, we are talking about ONE play and not the entire game plan. :)

Absolutely amazing that play was called for JJ to run the ball.

Chris Jericho rules. And actually, I think more and more people have been asking for Miles—or anyone for that matter—to get more involved in the play calling. Crowton has hardly been the fair haired boy this season.

All of your post makes no difference in the fact that Les is not a good game day coach.

It doesn't matter what people on the rant say about playcalling.

Les is the HEAD COACH, and with the talent on this team it is unacceptable to be ranked near the bottom IN THE COUNTRY on offense.

Les is the HEAD COACH and should make all end-game decisions about strategy... NO MATTER WHAT!

If he is letting another man make decisions that he should be making, LSU is paying the wrong guy all of that money.

The sidelines looks like a bunch of kindergardener jumping and skipping around looking at eachother for answers.

I agree with you Cracking, i'm pointing out that there is a double standard among Tiger fans. Les should make the final decision right or wrong.
