RB's after this year

Looking at the roster, it could become a problem if we don't get at least 2 or 3 good backs this year. We all know that Scott, Williams are SR's and Murphy is a JR. So with signing only Ford and maybe Calhoun, I am sure RB is a major priority this signing class. What worries me is that Seastrunk seems to be leaning elsewhere and Dyer not looking as hard at us anymore who else is out there in the Scott, Williams and Ford mold?

Storm Johnson is a good, strong running back out of Georgia. He is already qualified academically and is in the Rivals 250. There was a rumor that he was already a silent commit to LSU, and even if that is not the case, he seems pretty serious about LSU.

LSU is not looking at any RB's this year and I don't think they realize they have this problem. This might snowball around 2011 or 2012.

I agree, promqueenone. I don't think they realize it. You think you could give Les a call and let him know for me?

Sorry, I had a double take on that. Got my glasses and noticed my mistake. I guess I had that little philly with the tight arse at my prom on my mind.

I haven't forgot about him. If he can come back better than before then yea we boost the RB's right away.

Prom,
Aside from running backs being a problem in the future, do you think that Cornerback will be a problem too?
2010 Corners
Patrick Peterson 6-1 205 jr
Ryan St. Julien 6-1 180 so
Morris Claiborne 6-0 180 fr
Jai Eugene 5-11 185 sr
Brandon Taylor 6-0 185 jr
Derrick Bryant 5-11 190 so
[I suppose you could put John Williams and Calhoun back there, but I think they are slots--Claiborne(wr/db) and Bryant(s) aren't even true corners according to what I've read]
Don't you think with the playing of Brandon Taylor instead of Redshirting him last year presents a problem?
I see us having to get some young talent quick and losing J. Jackson to Tennessee last year really, really hurt. Shouldn't we get two great ones this year and redshirt them, since Peterson (NFL) and Taylor will be gone soon?

Really? They have offered almost all of the top RB's in the nation but you say they aren't looking at any RB's this year? I think you have your information WAY wrong. And I think we have a shot at both lache and storm johnson. I know lache is all about auburn now, but if they dont' have a good year, which i don't think they will, and we do, which i think we will, and our RB's have good years, which again i think will happen, it wouldn't surprise me to see him come here.

Don't forget Chris Hawkins. But I agree CB is a need area. Not getting Jackson last year hurt.
