anyone know the rules with kids needing a ticket for entering tiger stadium?

I plan to bring my 3 year old to her first game this week vs Tulane (knowing I won't make the whole game, but want to give her a taste of LSU).

I have 3 seats in NEzone, I sold my 4th to a guy that hasn't sat with us all year (he goes to student section)

Do I need to look for a ticket to enter gate 8/9 to get her in with us?

Or since she will have a seat already with us, does she not need one?

If they are feeling like pricks, they'll want you to have a ticket to enter at that gate.

If it is breathing, it need a ticket. The policy sucks, but thats the way LSU handles kids.

You will need to pay the 1 dollar for the ticket (if you can't get one for free).

I searched ticket info at lsusports.net but don't see anything

I thought that was the rule though.

I've brought my kids since they were 2 or so. I needed tickets. Now you never know if they let you go by one time, but don't count on it.

I had a one year old in 2005 and I called LSU. Also, I had friends who experienced the same thing.

Thanks. I should be able to find one that enters gate 8/9...

Especially after the performance last week and Tulane game this week...

Who needs a ticket?
All fans, regardless of age, need a ticket to enter Tiger Stadium for all football games. For all other sporting events, fans ages 3 and above need a ticket.

So are you asking if you need a ticket to get her in, or if you need a ticket for Gate 8/9 for her to enter with you?

Both. I saw a few weeks ago someone try to enter gate 8/9 and when they scanned his ticket, the normal "ding" was a different sound of rejection.
The ticket taker looked at the ticket and told the guy he was at the wrong gate.
This has deterred me from bringing a friend from a different section to sit with us in the other sold seat.

Now, if they would enforce this for a 3 year old at the Tulane game... Who knows? Maybe ANY ticket would do, but to be safe I will look for a ticket at my gate 8/9

I don't think you'll have a problem with a ticket from a different gate for a three year old child. They will most likely accept the ticket without any concern.
