The fallacy with those "expectations" is that many on the board think Lane Kiffin is a better coach than Kelly, which is ridiculous. People just want flash and pop, but this program needs smarts and stability and someone who can fully rebuild in all the right areas. I think Kelly can do that. If he keeps the right people on staff, he'll recruit lights out too. I also hear that he prefers to interview for coordinator positions before hiring.
