Probably get on Florida St message boards and taunt them about how bad we’re going to beat them in Nola

8 games next year sounds about where Vegas would put over/under for next year

I hop your not expecting a CFP type of year in 2022 because you’re setting yourself up for disappointment

Nowhere near my first choice, but it'll take me about 2 minutes to totally talk myself into it.

You do realize Napier has more HC experience than Aranda, right?

Exactly. Napier is a young, intelligent, great coach with a football mind and a process that clearly works.

If someone like Miles or Orgeron, who are frankly pretty dumb, disorganized, and lacking a real plan, can win an NC at LSU... A bright young mind with a process and a plan like Napier could win several.

It's not the "splashiest" hire and not the top target in the CFB world, but I could find many, many reasons to be excited about it and support it

Yeah he’s not my first choice or even my second or third choice but if he’s your fall back option you’re in a good spot. There’s risk any time you bring a g5 coach to a big school but the upside is obviously there.

We all know Woodward's hiring history. If he hires a G5 coach that's never been a P5 head coach, it's safe to say that good amount of coaches declined the job.

I hope he doesn't let his ego get in the way and hires the best coach possible.

Napier is not my pick, but IF Woodward thought he was the best coach, then I hope his desire to make a splash would not prevent him from hiring him.

Id be excited. Of course there are coaches out there that id like more than others but i think we are fortunate that theres a pretty deep list of coaches that would do very well here for us.
