OU has a conservative culture that probably not spend 15 million for a coach right now. They have a bit of arrogance. If LSU is offering north of 12 million it's very likely OU boosters let him walk not because they can't afford it but because of the culture they have established there.
I agree with you though he's not coming. He's using us to milk OU as much as he can and probably will take a pay cut to stay with them than jump over to LSU.
