You didn’t see the video of the mounted patrol trying to stop people coming in the gate? After the issue at the border with the mounted patrol and the president saying “we’re going to make them pay” these guys weren’t going to risk it. I don’t blame them.

Happened at a Who concert in 1979 in Cincinnati. Different situation, the doors weren't opened when they were supposed to be causing mass confusion.
The worst I remember (Not counting Mecca tramplings) was at Hillsboro Stadium in Sheffield UK
