So many people like Lane Kiffin and I don't understand why.

He seems like a very immature person. I do like his sense of humor but it seems to come at the expense of better judgement instead of actual humor.

I don't know what he's done as a coach to merit being LSU's next coach. I don't know if it would be a fit.

I will support whoever the choice is but I don't think Woodward is targeting someone that has so much baggage.

What is his baggage, specifically?

It all comes back to offense.

I believe lsu fans are shell shocked from all the down years on offense and kiffin is a sure thing.

A head coach that would have a top 5 offense is a great thing. I jeep going back and forth on lane.

Kiffin is so immature and let's his emotions get the best of him.

His offense is so much fun to watch and scores points consistently. You also know that LSU is going to have a dude at QB year in and year out. Pair him with a good DC and it could go really well.

Dude is a character and runs an amazing offense, at LSU he could actually have a good DC, as a result, boom playoff contender every year.

I don’t care about his maturity. I think he’s a mediocre coach at best. He’s never had anywhere near the level of success expected at LSU. He’s been at big programs and failed miserably

He would field an elite offense. He would recruit well here. He would probably retain key coaches (Raymond, Mickey). For all of his immaturity he doesn’t have legit baggage. He’s young. He is an extremely hard worker with lots of experience. He has showed that he can adjust and learn. His players play very hard. Want more reasons?

With more and more news coming out about O’s post-divorce cooze hounding, does Woody really want to follow that up with a guy like Joey Freshwater?

What did Orgeron do to merit being LSU's coach?

Track record of great offense and job hopping.

Pass.

Sustainable excellence or bust. What Saban does, Kirby and Dabo have built, or don’t bother.

I don't know why Kiffin would be preferable to Sonny Dykes, actually.

Dykes has a much better record as a head coach and his offensive system is better.

Did you see the Ole Miss Tenn game! How awesome would it be to go to Ole Piss each year and occasionally Tenn and watch the melt! I’m in for the added entertainment level in addition to what I think he could do with LSU talent.

He's probably the only coach I can get genuinely excited about coaching for LSU right now, Kiffin with LSU's talent would be a spectacle.

It's about projection. People see his offenses and believe he would be even more unstoppable given LSU's talent.

Sort of like Kliff Kingsbury getting an NFL job after likely being fired from Texas Tech.

He is a hell of a play caller

I just don't know what DC he would bring in
