frick Tom Hallion in the butt with a big rubber dick. Even Wainwright was talking about this during the game in the beginning.

We're not playing today.

Not yet. There may be a window around 4-6 but more storms come back in. Tomorrow is perfect weather in Chicago. I don't think they're going to get into likely delays or suspensions etc with the guarantee of perfect weather Tomorrow. Sucks for us, they can skip Rodon and go back to Giolito on full rest.

And buys the relievers an extra day of rest
Looking at that ump scorecard and it doesn’t even mention the most costly miss
Strike 3 to Grandal in the 3rd called ball that led to 5 runs

Game 3's in the ALDS have never been our thing. The game wasn't winnable.
We just don’t sweep. Agreed. It wasn’t winnable. I feel better about today.
And it can hardly be worse than Hallion was yesterday.
FOBD!
And frick Tepera.
We need this game played today. But MLB will do everything they can to put it off. Praying the rain stops soon!!!

Single handedly changed the outcome of the game with us strike zone and “base path” “judgement”

Tom Hallion is a clown. Between the lawn mower strike three call he likes to perform and his utter, all-around incompetence, he sunk to Dusty Baker's level last night.
I need this team to win the World Series or lose in 5 in this series. I can't take more than 3 or 4 more days of Dusty Baker without a gigantic payoff at the end. I'm already watching Ed Orgeron's buffoon arse every Saturday. My mind can't take much more of this incompetence.

What did we do to deserve Ed Orgeron and Dusty Baker?
Man even if we advance the juxtaposition of the managers is insane. Dusty vs Kevin Cash/Alex Cora. It's not even close.

Nah, save him for a possible game 5 or game 1.

Dangit, really had the depth of their pitching staff on the ropes too.
I think you go Lance, he's on full rest, and now you have the added "luxury" of Urquidy being able to give you multiple innings if needed. This is really unfortunate because they can skip Rodon now. Granted, the Astros have a great track record vs Lynn, but a not really stretched out Rodon and bullpen with a lot of pitches on it really favored the Astros today.

Yeah don’t change anything. This opens up Framber for possible relief tomorrow I would think. Interested to see if Chicago sticks with Rodon

Ahhh, I miss counted the days off in between

Yeah curious if Sox try to go Lynn on short rest tomorrow then potentially Giolito on short rest Wednesday. The fact Rodon was saved for game 4 means he definitely isn’t 100%

Admittedly, I got so pissed after the third/fourth last night that I checked out mentally.
1) Pull Luis with two out and a 2-0 count.
2) Yimi comes in and gives it up.
3) Yimi comes back out to start the fourth!??!?!!! Gets knocked around some more before FINALLY bringing in CK.
I think a trained….

Great point about a potential Framber to piggy back off Urquidy. He only threw like 70 pitches on Friday right?
I'm basing my decision on how it seems managers with the advantage have handled something like this recently. Seems they always go for the kill shot and don't hold bullets for a "what-if" scenario.

Greinke should be able to go tomorrow. Not sure about Javier. Man he was great last night it’s a shame our offense went ice cold
