So bring one more person into the box on defense. That makes sense.

design. Up to now our only run play has been the line blocking in what looks like pass protection and the quarterback handing the ball to the running back while both of them are flat footed in the backfield

I think I just figured out why we can’t run the ball. Is it because most of our runs are called as rpos? Meaning the lineman aren’t getting to the second level to block the backers because they’ve been taught to make sure there not downfield in case max pulls it and throws? They (the line)don’t want to get penalized for being downfield .

So he’s gonna go all Les Miles and bring back Nicky Savoie? Or was that Saban? Awesome. Stoops won’t know how to defend that LOL

Neither. DiNardo was the coach when Savoie was there. Dude was a good QB in high school. He was an above average blocking TE in college. Probably one of the all around toughest ball players at LSU.

Too much ghhheeyyyy.

I for one am completely fine with TAF using my entire yearly contributions for the next foreseeable future to can the cartoon. All 1200 bucks of it.

We went from a whole off-season, spring, and 5 games into the season hearing about 2019’s offense and now we’re resorting to LM’s offense…classic.

And this never occurred to anybody at any point during the THREE drives in the 4th with a lead in which we gained a grand total of 28 yards with zero called runs?

Agreed I see a lot of teams doing innovative things. LSU can’t run on a highschool team!

But lets not forget we have the worst guards and tackles in college football also. Don't give all the credit to our center.

To be fair u must try something but that ain’t it IMO. When ur backs avg for the YEAR about a foot before contact there’s only not many options. 1. Ya have to find the shiftiest RB on ur team who’s the best at making first guy miss. Cough Fkin cough KINER!! And the other is stay w RPO but actually run the qb 4/5 times a game. And lastly throw the Fkin screen to boutee!!

We didn't and couldn't run against a 3-2-6, but we are going to run the ball against 8 in the box. These coaches are idiots.

He’d be better off just running a toss sweep out of the same formations we are already using.

We ran wide once against Aub and we got 6+ yds on the play.
