#Browns QB Baker Mayfield, who has been wearing a shoulder harness to play, suffered a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder on Sept 19 vs the #Texans, sources say. No surgery needed as of now. He was listed on the report after the injury and hasn’t missed a practice snap.

Baker Mayfield will continue to play through the ailment. Asked yesterday by reporters if the shoulder harness affects his play, he said: “It shouldn’t, no.”

The MSB’s boy. Dude is overrated as hell. QBR is at he bottom of the league. He was constantly missing open receivers last week. 2 TDs(same as Davis Mills, Jacoby Brissett) for the whole year for the #1 overall pick. He has nice release but that’s about all.

Lol...this board is ridiculous when it comes to Baker Mayfield. He was leading the NFL in Comp% the first 3 weeks of the season. OBJ comes back, he has a bad game and here we are right back to the Baker hate...keep it coming lol.

He was terrible last week and missed OBJ wide open for an easy catch and run TD. Had to be the shoulder. This explains a lot.

It’s not hate. Just my honest evaluation of him. I’ve always thought of him as a game manager and not a 1st round talent. He’s also one of the most sacked QB this year. That’s inexcusable when you have #1 running game supporting you. Only Zach Wilson is sacked more but the jets have no running game whatsoever.

I think he is going to end up like Stafford. Good, not great, somewhat inconsistent. A top 10-15 QB that needs a solid team around him.

Stafford has a better arm and makes better decisions. Shame Stafford never had a stud RB. Imagine if stafford had Chubb/Hunt duo.

Obviously a huge difference that it is in his non throwing shoulder

Has there ever been a more overrated QB than Baker Mayfield in relation to advertising revenue and hype / celebrity he receives?

A torn labrum in the non throwing shoulder is a no issue other than maybe subluxing after a hit. Shouldn't really affect him unless he's a vaj.

I agree with your points about Mayfield but I think you’re being too hard on Stafford. Guy was a really good QB stuck in a bad organization with a trash supporting cast outside of Megatron. If Stafford was the starting QB of the Browns instead of Mayfield, they would be one of the top two or three favorites to win the Super Bowl.

Sounds like the coaches need to call more run plays and the OL needs to get their pass protection in gear

This would be a pretty big compliment to baker. You’re selling stafford short.

See, this is what i am talking about...Baker Mayfield has the longest pass in recorded NFL history. Baker has an absolute cannon. You all clearly never watch him and only listen to whenever the dude makes one bad throw. He led the dam NFL in Comp% before last week. Yall just sit and wait for him to throw an incomplete pass, then start a thread like this.

This can not be real life...right? So the Browns were a good organization when Baker got there? He had 4 head coaches in 3 years. Talk about bad. Before the Browns drafted Baker Mayfield...the Browns won just 1 game out of their previous 41 games....you read that right...1-40. The Browns now have a winning record since Baker took over. Baker has better stats in almost EVERY category than his peers who were drafted with him. You Baker haters sure are a weird bunch.

You Ohio people are so funny. I don't even hate Baker, but your boys could rape and murder your daughter and you would still defend them since they play for your favorite team.
