In that case he could’ve made the same statement about the city and organization that he did, and then refuse to comment on the Griff stuff.

People are not seeing the forest for the trees here. Griff vs. the media is nothing. Zion either not having a problem with the team or being invested enough to cover for Griff for the good of the team is the take away here.
