Yes she has stayed with him far too long. I am so glad she finally sees the light

She kicked him out after the gun incident but he’s still coming and going as he pleases

I hope she gets out safely and doesn't change her mind again. She should seek help from wherever she can get it. She should go to the law enforcement agencies where she is and report the gun incident. Hopefully, one of them will charge him. I'd even go to the prosecutor's office if necessary.

Document everything. Change the locks. Move if she can do so as soon as possible.

She told me she told the cop everything yesterday but I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s still protecting him

I’ll tell her this

That's the opposite of being kicked out.

Huh, sounds like an ex-girlfriend of mine. She even took some of my kids things. Not a lot but stupid petty shite like taking the fitted sheets. Left the pillow cases, top sheet, and mattress protector which all can be omitted or in the case of the pillow cases just buy new ones. No, she takes the part that forces your hand to buy all new bedsheets.

At least she took furniture my ex-wife picked out years ago and I wasn't using, so that's a plus.

Holding a gun to someone’s head is usually grounds for a killing

Sounds like she didn’t want to press charges and just wants a PO.

Pretty typical in domestic situations where the female doesn’t want to send the guy to jail, just wants to get away.

If she would have him arrested, a contusion of his bond would be a PO
