That’s doubtful. He might be able to explain some blocking intricacies of the wishbone or power I…you know, stuff that dominates today’s CFB landscape.

This guy is insufferable, lol, if he knows so much, how in the hell did he miss the very first play of the game without realizing that was not run against UCLA?

Although if true, it makes Ed seem even more incompetent.

I’m off the EO train even if they win 11 games. The guy is a clown.

Who needs you on the O train all you do is try to derail it. 11 wins in the SEC West and you still want him gone? Doesn't sound like this is about football maybe something personal? Maybe you nave a problem that he is Cajun? Don't know but something else at work here

Bro, you're a walk on. STFU

Whats that supposed to mean? Walk ons at LSU were pretty damn good ball players in hs. Alot of them get overlooked or develop later than some of the other known prospects and they walk on, despite having scholarship offers to other d1 programs in alot of cases or due to programs not having enough scholarships. Its extremely difficult andnyou have to have talent to even make the team. Did you know jj watt was a walk on at wisconsin? There are plenty of stories about walk ons that end up making it to the nfl. Also, walk ons are usually the ones on the team that get beat up the most as theyre the ones that have to run scout teams in practice and get beat up on.

The OP is an idiot.

You act like we haven’t lived through mike archer,Curley hallman, Lou tepper and Thomas dunson, linehan, cam Cameron, studrawa (good lord), Mallory/Peveto….

The list is long. And indistinguished.

LSU fans aren’t always right. But they can identify dogshit when the step in it.

Not pretending you are. All I know about 2020 is Covid, hurricanes, 20 players either graduated or opted out, Stingley and others hardly played cause of injuries or covid, our starting QB out after 3 games. Yet we regrouped and beat Ole Miss and Florida whom we weren't supposed to beat to end the season.

It is you who is pretending 2020 was normal.

We ran inside zone almost every run play vs UCLA outside a QB sneak or two.

Why do you think we did that? I know why you tell me.

We actually ran a toss play against McNeese.

Yep a toss to Goodwin I believe which makes sense since he has the speed to make it work. Notice we didn't run it again.

Come on. I know you were a walk on for a directional school in Louisiana probably before they started recruiting black players but you should have been able to catch that.

Really a directional school? Well a lot of your buddies are talking about hiring Hushpeth from that directional school. My best friends on the team were black most of the others didn't like me cause I wasn't a scholarship player.

Maybe because their defensive sets didn't allow it.

Come on, man. The defensive set allowed it with 7,8, 9 on the line. They blitzed us just about every other play. You can coach that with a blindfold on..."alright guys, I know I'm wearing this blindfold. But, even though I can't see, I'm being told that they are consistently blitzing us. They've blitzed us 6 times in a row. Apparently, they are going to blitz us every down until they are unsuccessful. This is what we are going to do: Next play is a draw. The play after that a screen. We gonna shut this shite down."

We may be a good football team. Who the frick knows...
But, we aint worth a shite in coaching or making in-game adjustments.

Waterboys step on the field too, yeah?

But for real…

Hugh Freeze, Mike Leach, David Cutcliffe. Some names of guys that didn’t play the sport past HS. Todd Haley coached in the NFL and didn’t play the game.

I suppose you know more than these guys because you stepped on the field. What a pathetic take.

Don't know maybe they didn't play past HS but they did play. More importantly THEY studied under other head coaches whether in HS or college. Your argument is lame and makes no sense. How many here has been a head coach in HS or college? Not you for sure.

What does the S in USL stand for?

And then we did not hire Hudspeth

You are a damned fool if you think walking on at USL 50 years ago somehow qualifies you to have expert opinions on the game in 2021. Technology, training, dieting, and pretty much every other aspect of the sport has changed since your era. You can probably tell some decent battle stories, but that’s where your expert contributions end.

You are telling me offensive football has changed like somehow I are anyone else hasn't noticed? Yes it has changed but basics of coaching hasn't. You still run plays based on what talent you have vs the talent you are playing against. 50 years ago if 4 of your top O lineman were out would you be able to run the offense you really wanted to but knew you really couldn't? Why would that have changed. And what does dieting, technology and training have to do with basic decisions about coaching and your gameplan? My coach wouldn't gave the passing game front and center if four of our WR were out. Maybe he would if he knew he could beat that without those guys much like this weekend going plain vanilla in the run game.

Don't understand where you are going with this.

My argument makes no sense? You said stepping on a CFB field means you probably know 100 times more than someone who didn’t. I listed guys who didn’t set foot on a field and became successful coaches.

Not an argument…just facts.

I’m saying your view on the game is outdated and not completely relevant to what happens today.
