Hasnt Arik been gone for damn near a year? We still have his packages just in case he shows up Saturday?

It’s almost as bad as using another poster’s handle against him in an argument.

What’s your name mean? All I know is caca is slang for shite. That part seems to be spot on.

LSU much better than 90% THINK

Agreed. LSU is in the top 5 in talent. We have the physical ability to be a contender. The players need to be coached up though.

90% of fans know very little about football. They think they do but they don't.

I know I don't know shite and will tell you.

What I saw Saturday night 90% here didn't see.

What did you see?

I saw a much improved defense. The only score allowed was late in the game against backups. Anytime you allow 51 yards on 42 carries, that's impressive no matter who the opponent is.

The offense still looked pedestrian though. They appeared to be back to pre-Burrow form but without the power run game that we used to be famous for.

That's about as good of a breakdown as I'm going to give you. Oh yeah... the O-line sucked.

My post consists of more than grammatical criticism. I’ll add reading comprehension to the list.

As others have noted, you’ve made no argument. You’ve insulted the community. That’s all you’ve accomplished here.

And yet, you posted 3 paragraphs without articulating what you saw.

Didn't because I was too busy but have little time now.

1. I saw a defense that is as good as Bama's
2. I saw an O Line put together with duck tape and bailing wire that got a lot of experience.
3. I saw a coaching staff that kept the offense plain vanilla for the O Line subs cause they knew there was no way in hell McNeese had any possibility of beating us.
4. I saw Max get better as the game went on.
5. I saw because both Emery and Goodwin, our two fastest running backs, were out it limited a number of things we could do offensively.
6. I saw WR's dropping passes mainly Brian Thomas but also saw a new star in Jack Bech.
7. I saw 22 players out for this game yet we held whether you agree with me or not a good McNeese team to 161 yrs with 44 of that coming on a screen pass near the end if the game against 2nd, 3rd and 4th teamers.
8. I saw no major injuries other than an ankle sprain to Goodwin.
9. I saw a coach who knew he was going win and rested up players who he didn't need to play.
10. I saw an OC and HC coach who forced our O line to block on basic run plays that Mcneese knew was coming to get them experience and toughness for the SEC.
11. I saw an exciting backup QB in Nussmier and a budding star in Desmond Little.
12. I saw a 34-7 win that should have been 50-7
13. Lastly I now see a bunch of whinny buzzards who don't understand what they saw Saturday and already calling for the heads of our coaches after 1 loss.

Bum Phillips on his way out as the head coach of the Saints at his last press conference told marble mouthed New Orleans sports figure Buddy Dilaberto "you don't anything about football. You think you do but you don't". It was a beautiful thing to see and hear. Dilaberto was also the one who said "Bert Jones will never be an NFL QB".

I grew up in the 90s and even as a kid I couldn’t stand Buddy D even though I didn’t always understand what he was talking about. That comment about Bert Jones kills me. WTF

Wow, you sure you aren’t in the .1% with that insight?

You saw dropped passes?

Damn.

I am Interested in your point about coaches making the OL run basic running plays.

We ran a greater variety of running plays against McNeese than we did UCLA.

where was that defense against the FBS school we played in week 1?

you don’t base your playbook on 2-3 players. If they can’t run half the plays because a RB is out, they’re morons.

a good McNeese team
I don’t care if it’s the best team McNeese has ever put on the field. They’re an FCS school in a state with five FBS schools. (Louisiana isn’t that big btw)

I was all state
Who do we appreciate!

Hey, football sage, let's not present football like requires an Einstein brain. It is String Theory, the shoes and pigskin form.

With all due respect, what you saw the last 2 Sat nights, is as 10% as many in the 90%.

I will give you that there are some dumbazzes in the 90%, but settle down, Francis.

DUCT tape. As in, if you have an air duct that has a leak, you can patch it with DUCT tape.

Not "duck" tape.

You are the perfect person to give an honest answer to this question:
When UCLA blitzed the shite out of us, why did we not run a draw or screen to counter the blitz?

To be fair, there is a brand of duct tape called Duck Tape

14. I saw 2.9 yards per rush and 30% of rush attempts by QB

From the peanut gallery 90% point of view

I won't even mention the low 3rd down conversions and the impact that has on all phases of the game, because it is above my 90% pay grade.

Lol, this is your insight, mr film room? The offensive line got their asses utterly handed to them against UCLA but Max just needs to get his shite together and this is a 10-2 team? They can’t run block or protect the QB, how does a soph qb with 4 starts go about “getting his shite together” under those circumstances?

Are you embarrassed? You should be.

I also played college football. Chicken, can you open the "Former College Player" board now please?

Thanks

All right let's rock! I played at the former USL under Russ Falkenberry. Was a walk-on WR. Robbie Juul was my QB but since we ran a version of the veer/wishbone we didn't throw much. Second year as a walk-on coach Roy asked me to come into Russ's office right before fall practice. They told me that because of my work ethic and abilities that they would make me part of the team. In fall practice got a bruised kidney and a seperate shoulder. I ended my football a week later not because of the injuries but because I got into snow skiing big time the previous winter and decided my passion was snow skiing and a major knee injury playing football would end that sport for me.

However I did come in as a volunteer to assist in the film room breakdown sessions. Learned a lot about football that I didn't know.

Who did you play for and what position?
