Not sure why anyone is surprised. The Republicans have turned pissing away momentum into an art.
How about this. Let’s have Republicans actually show a spine on some fricking issue. They have been folding on everything. It’s time for these spineless bastards to show their true colors or get voted out for people who actually answer to and for their constituency.

Abortion is straight up murder. In the case of rape I am in favor of the death penalty for the rapist. The mother should have free health care, plenty of programs out there now, and the baby should be given to an adoption agency. What did the baby do to deserve the death penalty besides having a father who is an A-hole. It does not make sense.

He doesn't need a "semi-reputable" source. Tell you what...keep that line in your pocket for that day when you get high as a kite, beat up your pregnant girlfriend and she loses the baby. Tell the DA who's charging you with a homicide that it's a "fantasy". What won't be a fantasy is when you're getting your fudge packed in prison on a daily basis.

That is exactly right and there is zero chance the Republicans will ever seriously push for going after Roe vs Wade. But, each state has their right to decide on it for themselves and their states.

I don’t think it’s a lot of the populace. It’s probably mostly the rabid pro-abortion segment that doesn’t want to bother with understanding a different point of view. I think the vast majority of people believe ending a human life is murder, so the debate then becomes about when human life begins - and even those with a different belief don’t consider “life begins at some point before delivery” like they do “men can have babies.”
