Illinois is opening their season on Saturday. If you go to their athletic website they are marketing with great vigor that their stadium is at 100% capacity!! I don't see ANYTHING indicating they are requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter the stadium. ALL while the Chicago Sun Times reports this week that "Illinois covid cases have reached a seven month high!"

And this is Illinois who NO ONE will claim is a "red state".

The REALITY is this is JBE trying to ingrain himself into the national democratic scene by showing he is going to toe and go beyond the party line.

LSU is currently joined by Oregon and Oregon State in covid stadium restrictions. That's some company to be in. I'll bet some of the folks behind the decision believed other institutions would follow suit but it has really only created an opportunity for them to make LSU look foolish.

U Of Illinois is in Champaign, hours from Chicago.. most bars and some outdoor venues in Chicago have the same requirements as Tiger Stadium

The cuck comments to the tweet make me happy we're leaving Georgia behind for good.

It's possible to be pro-vaccine, but anti-vaccine mandates.

Not with libtards. It’s their war or no way. I have nothing against the vaccine (I got it), I’m opposed to the mandates.

UGA is one of the best academic institutions in the SEC.

Obviously, they are behind Vandy but that is not a real college.

I can pretty much guarantee that Florida, Alabama, and Auburn won't have any restrictions. Probably not A&M either.

We are already an (Louisiana) island, we have a Democratic Governor THE ONLY ONE in the whole south along with Texas, that is running this state and our freedoms straight in the ground. He is a Liberal as Liberal as you can be and will destroy this great state as Latoya the Destroya is doing New Orleans. Other SEC schools will not let this happen Not Florida, Georgia, or Alabama, we will and already regret the day JBE took office. Just say this out loud you have to have a Vacc/ID to eat or see a sporting event, but do not have to show an ID to vote WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kentucky possibly as they have a democratic governor too.

Won't matter. The legislature passed a bill last session limiting the governor's emergency powers. The governor sued saying it was unconstitutional but the KY Supreme Court ruled over the weekend that it was constitutional. So now, any emergency orders by the governor expire after 30 days unless approved to continue by the legislature.

I do understand the fight against requiring people to be vaccinated, but if don’t want to wear a mask to save yourself and others, then we really got problems.

You're referring to Democrat cities in Georgia.

LSU is definitely going to be on an island in the SEC when it comes to this

It's a crappy island that led to F King and CRT at top level.

It's an island that has Louisiana stagnant in population while the rest of the South is rapidly growing. Would not be surprised if by 2030 or 2040 census if only Mississippi has less people in SEC member states. Arkansas and its pro growth initiatives will lap LA soon like AL, SC, and TN (who have all passed LA last 40 years).

Sadly, and once again, we (6 of us) will not be traveling to Baton Rouge this fall for any of our home games.

Flights: refunds on the way
Hotels: canceled
Car Rentals: canceled
Restaurant Reservations: canceled
Season Tickets donated ... end of story.

However, we will be flying cross country to see the Tigers play. Kids are looking forward to The Rose Bowl, Studio Tours, and Disneyland, even though they go to Orlando at least six times a year

Ya I’m dumb as frick for not getting a vaccine for something that has like a .0001% chance to kill me in my age group. frick you. I’ll take my Covid test and I’ll be in that stadium too bitch.

Wife and I in our 60’s got Covid over a month ago. Mild cases, no hospital, totally over it,
doing fine. The secret to handling Covid isn’t the vaccine. It’s something real inexpensive and safe that people pass by every day in a he pharmacy section. Not Ivermectin. The real dumb arses are the one one that haven’t figured it out.
