Not that I've seen. I'm hoping it's lotto protected and then becomes 2nds.

If the pick is in the lottery Griff doesn't care because he is probably getting fired and it becomes someone else's problem. If the pick eventually becomes 2nds, that puts this move in a different light.

Yeah the protections are going to be key. If this converts into two seconds like the first Griff traded for Korver when he was in Cleveland I have no issue with it. If it continues to rollover into future years until we eventually give up a first, that's not great.

Do you not watch the nba draft. A non top 5 pick is a crapshoot!

Can we sign his former teammate, Malik Monk, as an off the bench scorer

Yep, if this is the case then I'm good with it.

If we miss the playoffs next season, the franchise is cursed and screwed so who cares at that point

The prob is we have used 3 firsts, multiple seconds, on Adams, Bled, Jonas, Devontae

And since we held onto JJ and Lonzo too long we didn’t get good value for them.

And instead of going after Adams and giving up picks, we could’ve done the same thing with Horford and gained picks.

It just adds up. Butterfy effect. We should have 2 firsts a year to work with and we don’t and we don’t exactly have a surefire great team to show for it.

Picks should ideally be used on stars or players that could become stars, not for obtaining role players and dumping bad contracts to obtain more role players.

If we're in the top 10 in 2023, that means Ingram and especially Zion are massively overrated and we're fricked regardless

I'll be looking for a big jump in the standings this year. I am concerned both are better at stuffing the stat sheet rather than good players. TBD for both though.

If the picks roll over to two seconds, I'm okay with the price. If we make the playoffs this year, even better.

Glad you love these moves. Enjoy them when New Orleans is still fighting for 10th. Just gave up a first for a guy who is going to barely move the needle from what we’ve been seeing.

Everyone is arguing about the first when it’s clear the goal is to make the playoffs next year. We also still have $20+ in cap space. Graham is paid as a backup, dinwiddie isn’t necessarily off the table.

You can move satoransky to another team and acquire additional space and draft assets.

I’m going to wait until the end of the week before I get up in arms.

Just looked at devonte Graham Instagram story. Looks like he's genuinely happy that's he's here.

I know it is lottery protected but what happens in 2023 if it doesn’t convey? Becomes two seconds?

Current roster:

PG: Graham/Lewis
SG: NAW/Satoransky/Temple
SF: Ingram/Murphy/Marshall/Iwundu
PF: Williamson/Gabriel
C: Valanciunas/Hayes

definitely need another big man (hello bobby portis!?)

Portis resigned for a ridiculously low deal.
