Pelicans need a PG that knows what to do in close game situations. I can't ever see Lonzo bringing the ball up in a tie game with 10 seconds left and being clutch. He's a secondary ball handler with an inconsistent shot. Zion may like him, but he'll like the guy that helps him win a lot more. If that guy is Lowry, fine. If it's Sexton or Brogdon, ok. But I know it's not Lonzo. He can be a good player somewhere else but we need a guard that isn't afraid to take the last shot with a game on the line

Bingo!!

You are correct sir.. We lost many of close games last year with no leadership 8n the crunch time at the end of the game.

Lonzo would rather pass up the open lay up than put the game on his shoulders
