Take a look at Poor Boys Riverside Inn in Broussard. It's primarily a seafood restaurant, but there are lots of crawfish dishes including bisque with boulettes. There are gumbos, etouffees and other Cajun dishes.

The menu has photographs of the dishes online.

It has a neat old Cajun sort of atmosphere tucked away off the street among lots of trees with a pond (I think it's a pond) on the side of it with cypress trees and other foliage.

I haven't been in a while, but each time I have been, the waitress has had a pretty heavy Cajun accent. I've always enjoyed the place. It's pretty busy, so if you decide to go there, look into reservations. Ask for a table with a view of the water.

Report back on wherever you go, please!

Good recommendation. Their lump crabmeat dish is simple, but delicious. Went a few months ago and the property was overrun with raccoons.
