Quintessential Louisiana. A rich guy paying for his son to get a football scholarship to LSU. Every one knows if this kid comes from a different family, he's playing for a lower tier P5 school at best. Can't wait to see him waive a towel on the sidelines for 5 years.

If he was good enough he would pick up some other SEC offers regardless because anything can always happen.
Keep in mind he plays with Arch Manning so other schools surely would be offering just for that reason alone to get more in with Arch potentially, but we havent seen that to be the case. Plenty of schools have lined up to offer AJ Johnson.

I think the kid has tools to be good.
I just think lsu could use the extra spot and needs to start doing the same things bama does to be great.

I certainly want Bordelon to be good as much as anyone, but a projection as a two-year starter is excessive.
If you think Bordelon is going to be a 2-year starter, then I'd be very interested to hear who in this class you *dont* think will be a two-year starter? Or do you think that literally every single player will be a two-year starter?
Guess what: Projecting every dude in our entire class as a two-year starter is unrealistic. Bottom line is that if Bordelon projected as a multi-year starter in the SEC, he'd have a way better list of offers.
We can either discuss football or we can pretend that every LSU commit is the greatest steal ever bar none. I am certain as to which option this board will choose.

Don’t think anyone upset with what you think, thought that’s what this board is far. The cool part is in 2-3 yearsone one is of will be right, some wrong. In regards to someone’s post about doing what Bama does .For one thing we have totally different compliance offices. Though like I stated earlier there trying to get 1 each of Blue/Gray shirts this year, and 22-23 initial counters.Doing this they will still have 2-3 spots for transfers for immediate positions of need. Saying all this DOESNT mean it actually happens that way though.

Ben Bordelon is his father and played OLine at LSU in mid 90's. He was a road grader for K. Faulk.
I think he was All-SEC in 1996. Maybe 2nd team.

This site and others like it all seem to pick out a whipping boy every year sometimes like a pack of jackles. They have been merciless about Deculus whom I think is a very good OT. No one has beat him out for 4 years so how bad can he be.
