We are stuck with her and let me once again throw shade on:

Piazza. The little guy took votes from his bar buddies and clientele. Otherwise, all of those voted would have likely gone to Watson.

Carter. It was like someone wanted the B version of John McCain/Romney but for mayor. No one was excited about Steve Carter.

Not that EBR is going to get some GREAT and prolific and experienced politician to sign up and run for mayor, but Watson I could have lived with. Wicker I would have voted for but of course the SWB Democrat connections forced her out.

Crime will get worse and worse and worse until BR finds a mayor who will start from the bottom and arrest and throw away the keys of car burglars, illegal gun owners, rapists, and no-gooders. You lock them up and then the murderers start thinking of getting out of town. It’s that simple. Utilize — not cripple — a police force. Pay them more. Give them more to work with.

One Rudolph Giuliani did such a thing in a city that is 50 times the population of BR.
