I find it very difficult to make a decision about an accusation anymore with the ME TOO thing going on. Years ago where there was smoke there definitely fire, but now it’s a little more hazy on that.
I’m not saying I would invite him to be around program all the time and help recruiting, but I don’t want to take someone’s accomplishments away because of a situation that was never proven.
Cecil can stay away forever. Potentially Minho can if charges are true and convicted. Keep him at arms length until then.

You mean Cannon wasnt black

Sin is sin. No sin is better or worse than the next, plus I thought Guice wasn't convicted?

I don’t think OJ gets to do a ton of USC alumni stuff and he was found innocent

Guice had very similar stats to Fournette at LSU. I think if Derrius was given the chance as a true freshman he would have had a better 3 year career at LSU.

Assaulting a woman or child & counterfeiting money are in 2 entirely different universes.

Hell no. He accomplished nothing. Like at all. Most yards in a game? So what.

Guice doesn't deserve shite. However, he's absolutely in the mix of all time greats at RB for LSU. P.o.s. was awesome. Except for that time he went the wrong way vs Florida and cost us the game. And nearly cost O the HC job.

Great list, I would add Cecil Diesel & Jacob Hester. I forgot about Dominic Davis — he was a beast!!

...does not justify "no due process". Sorry.

He wasn’t an all time great without the rape stuff. He was very good but fornette, hill and CEH were all better in just the recent era.

Yes he does. Just like OJ Simpson with USC. The fact that he's likely a piece of shite doesn't change the fact that he was one of the best players to ever put on a uniform here.

On the field, if you define that as a Top 5-10 RB, yes, he does. He was a high-effort, violent, scrappy runner.

Guice is 1 of 5 RBs to ever go over 3000 yards (3 years). He has the record for yards in a game, and 3 of the top 4 games for yards in LSU History. Also 2 of the Top 10 seasons ever for yards.

What's most impressive about all the yards is the YPC. Best in LSU History with a 200-carry minimum. If you make it a 100-carry minimum, only Russell Shepard and Trindon Holliday had a higher YPC.

I'm sure the off-the-field issues will negatively affect how he's remembered, though.

He was significantly better than CEH, CEH just happened to play on a GOAT offense.
