Just switched my guy from high-end, grain-free dog food to Purina Pro Plan. He loves it, it’s reasonably priced and there are many flavors to rotate.

My vet cautioned me regarding grain free diets for dogs that include peas and legumes, as there may be a link to those ingredients and cardiomyopathy.

I didn't see your post before replying the exact same thing! I thought I was doing a good thing for my dog and instead it could've killed her. I hope companies are making changes to their formulas!

I've read this, and the results are 120 deaths in a 5 year period. I'm not trying to be mean about this, but that is 1 death every half a month potentially related to this. That doesn't seem like something worthy of worrying about. of course if it's your dog who the hell cares what I or anyone else says; I would be the same way if my guy got sick from food
