Unpopular opinion, the food at Mothers is actually pretty good. Not the best but def not a tourist “trap”.

Not worth waiting 20 min to eat bc there are places just as good or better with no wait, but the food isn’t bad.

Their breakfast is really good, worth a 10 min wait.

It’s an unpopular opinion for a reason. Mother’s is undeniably a trap. It is awful.

Negative Ghost Rider. We had a good meal. It may be a tourist spot but at least half of the patrons I saw in line or inside were locals.

Poydras and Canal run parallel to eachother.

They more or less “meet” at the river. Within a block or so, I believe.

When’s the last time you’ve been there? And where are you from?

I suggest , in general, listen to peeps who live in Nola, especially when it comes to food.

Didn’t SEE any no parking signs or parking meters. Seemed like way too good a parking space.

not sure I can co-sign this…. It’s a tourist trap no doubt about it, but it’s got plants of stuff competition to be ‘the worst’

Mobile seems more fun actually. Closer to beaches and you even have a battleship.

I live in Nola and grew up abt a mile away. You won’t find a better biscuit, homemade hot sausage, and split pea soup in Nola.

I mean it’s passable but people wait in line for it. It deserves to catch shite.

I don’t even know how it came to be popular. Would love to hear a back story on how it gained so much traction
