Society seems to demand conformity these days.

CFB is different than the other sports in that regular season games for top tier teams are dramatic and high stakes.

They demand that we make it just like all the other sports. It'll eventually be 16 teams, then 18 teams with a play-in. NFL minor leagues, basically.

Going into this year 14 of 32 NFL teams will make the playoffs. That's just under 44% at 43.75%.

For CFB to be equal to how the NFL does it 57 of the 130 teams would have to make the playoffs.

Who exactly did Ohio State defeat that made them deserve to play in the playoff last year? Indiana and Northwestern?
