There are a lot of black people that just want to be left alone.
There are a lot that will run to anyone that will listen to tell them how terrible all white people are.
You hear those people because they are on your TV and all over social media and making policies in our government.

This is not true in Nola.
When we'd have some of the blm protests, it never failed. The only ones not wearing masks were black males.
Same with any gas station. Black male rolls in with chin diaper or just not wearing one at all, when signs clearly say no mask no service.
And not forget the block parties or graduation parties all during this.
There are certain corner stores you drive by in the afternoon with 20 dudes standing around chit chatting without masks.

I feel like the big divide is when it comes to government’s roles in the community.
In my experience, Blacks for the most part have never met a govt program they didn’t want. And also, while person to person interaction is different, in their own community, they see racism and race in every aspect of life.
I taught in Caddo for many years and black teachers know what the problems are the same as everyone else.
