I’ve noticed it too. I work at Walmart and almost every black customer wears a mask. Probably about 70% of the whites are maskless.
I think they just don’t know any better. Black people tend to stick together so they are in an echo chamber of sorts. I know almost none of them watch Fox News or listen to talk radio so their reality, everything they know, is that if you don’t wear a mask you have a good chance of catching COVID and if you catch it you could very well die from it.
It’s sad. I have a couple of black coworker friends I try to explain the mask thing to but it’s so foreign to their understanding of things that they almost can’t process the information. It just doesn’t compute in their minds so they completely discount it.

I know a couple of African chicks who attract those hotep brothas like flies. One of them actually used the phrase "Nubian queen" and I thought that was pretty hilarious. Like, how and why do people actively transform themselves into ridiculous stereotypes? It boggles my mind. Black people believe a cloth mask will protect them more so than a vaccine. I’ve seen them and Asian folk wearing masks outside far more often than anyone other than soy folk.
