I mean that makes ya feel good but I wouldn't say those Oregon boys weren't tough enough to win it. That was a gritty tough team that fought to the end IMO, we just came out ahead. That's baseball, but if they want to think the west coast is only full of pussies I wont fight them about it lol.

That had zero to do with trying to pick him off

All of my son’s coaches ask me why/how he busts his arse so much in practice...I just say it’s the years of me screaming at him on the way home. If I’m giving up 3.5 hours of my time three times a week to take you to practice, your little arse is going to hear it from me if you put out shite effort. I think he just started to enjoy it more when he’d go balls out the whole time, so it stuck. Or he got tired of hearing me bitch for the 30 minute ride home. Either way,, you’re not going to outwork him at practice.

That is a large chunk of your free time, that's certain.

Let’s not forget: LSU has a “Brand” in college baseball and that says it all, aside from having a strong tradition. Kids expect to win championships at LSU. Bottom line!

This is true. However, Portland & Eugene are BAD. Corvallis right between the two and is totally different.

Against a lefty, no less! What’s that raise his average to against left handers, .050?

Big moment for him!

Reminds me of when chip Kelly after the 2011 game said the athletes are different down here.

Back in 2011 I was coincidentally in Oregon the week before the LSU Oregon season opener. Hence on my return to home flight on the Friday before I was on a planeload of Ducks. They had just gotten skull drug by Auburn in the NCG at the end of the previous season. Believe me they knew that they were less caliber athletes back then.

He quit club. He’ll play varsity as a freshman, and look to be the best kid on the pitch every single game.

He’s being brought up as QB, but luckily there a Sr starter this year. He’ll do all the kicking duties on varsity as a freshman.

Lettered in track as an 8th grader...so he’ll be a three sport varsity athlete. No time for club ball...his fight will be focused on school now.

He kicked very well at the LSU camp last weekend. Didn’t miss a kick until the last one, a 53 yarder off the ground.
