I know the OP wasn't asking about places, but since this place was brought up, I have to express what I know is a very unpopular opinion in Baton Rouge and will get me lots of down votes here, but I don't think Gino's is very good. Highly overrated.

My wife and I were having this conversation over the weekend. We both think Gino's and Louisiana Lagniappe are mediocre at best restaurants and highly overrated by the folks in Baton Rouge.

There, I said it. Let the downvotes begin!!!

Almost everyone who cares about dining in BR knows about DiGiulio’s and Gino’s. Those places stay busy.

Everyone in the city knows about Gino’s. Did you maybe mean Nino’s? Far more under rated
