I have always pulled the crawfish and then boiled the shrimp separate. How are they if I add the shrimp when I kill the fire for the crawfish to soak?

As soon as I kill the fire I drop shrimp. I soak around 20-22 minutes.

Same, anytime I've boiled shrimp w/crawfish, soon as I cutoff the burner, I put the shrimp in for about 20 mins.

I wait 10 minutes after I cut the fire and then add the shrimp. Otherwise they will be overcooked

When the crawfish are done I scoop some of the water out of the boil pot and put put it in a stock pot and boil the shrimp on the stove.

I throw them in about a minute or two before I cut the heat. I use a homemade boil boss rig to cool the pot down so I want to make sure they are cooked before cutting the heat and soak at 150 or lower. Works great, never any issues with overcooking. I also use 10/15 shrimp so the smaller you go you may need to adjust down the cooking time.
