You're comfortable taking a DNA vaccine carried by a live virus, but not a mRNA vaccine?
Posted on 4/14/21 at 12:31 pm to Cs
Tylenol is blamed for more deaths each year, than Johnson and Johnson will be.

Seems odd to pause one and not the other two.
The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are a different type of vaccine and have not had this clotting issue arise.
It sounds like we really don’t know for sure that the J&J vaccine is causing this issue, they just want to make sure that it isn’t the cause. The AstraZeneca vaccine, which has had clotting issues, is the same type of vaccine as the J&J vaccine.

I think they are just pausing long enough to get info to hospitals and doctors about how to treat the clots if they happen since the most common treatment is blood thinner. However in these cases the blood was already thin so using heparin (for example) could make things worse.
So armed with that info, even these extremely rare cases should not be an issue.

The meeting is happening right now and will end at 3:30. The pause could be over today.

Which is annoying if the case because the clinic I was supposed to get the vax at switched the Pfizer because of the pause.
So now I have to wait again...to find a clinic to get the J&J

I'm sure they still have those J&J vaccines at that clinic. I'd try there again first (assuming the all clear is given).

Comfortable - no.
More comfortable - yes.
Johnson and Johnson is the only one that I would even remotely consider.

J&J vaccine doesn't have problems. At least not blood clotting problems.
6 women out of 7 million doses equates to .00009% of vaccines administered possibly gave blood clots.
The percentage of people in the US that get blood clots each year with no identifying cause is roughly .009%. 900,000 people out of about 350 million people.
60,000 of those may die and the medical community can not explain it.
So 6 women get blood clots and 1 dies and they know the J&J vaccine is to blame.
If it smells like bull shite it usually is.
Forcing people to get a vaccine is BS. Let's start from there.

Not saying you're wrong that is not that many people but it's more than. There were at least 200 in the UK alone.
Carry on but use facts, please.

quote:Yes, and that's stupid. More people will certainly die from and/or suffer from covid from not being vaccinated than whatever this possible blood clot thing is.
They are pausing the J&J

Lulz that you believe that
Someone noted on here that a NCAA ref passed out during a game due to a blood clot. You know he was required to be vaccinated to work those games. You also know that his age bracket didnt get cleared for a vaccine then wait 2 weeks for the second dose in time to work the tournament. You have to assume he got the one shot vaccine
So you now have to admit that there are more than 6 people who have blood clot issues. Way more. We know for a fact that there were more people "reported" in Norway, with some eventually dying from the vaccine

The UK isn't using the J&J vaccine at all.....

Again, that wasn't the J&J vaccine.

They are pausing the J&J but not the other vaccines that have had issues as well. Is it because they want more MRNA?

EXACT SAME VACCINE, different manufacturer. As similar to J&J as Moderna is to Pfizer

They are not the same vaccine. They are similar in how they work, but are not the same. Different ingredients, different number of shots, differences in side effects.

No shite, they're using the AZ non mRNA vaccine which is the same type as J&J. The mRNA vaccines aren't having the blood clot issues.
Again, use facts please. Or at least understand the nuances of what you're talking about.

And the mRNA types do not have this issue.
The traditional type vaccine that J&J and AZ created do have blood clotting issues.
