Just did Jackson Hole to West Yellowstone to Gardiner then onto Whitefish for Glacier. Different conditions sine we did quite a bit of snowmobiling into Yellowstone and the Continental Divide but any trip into Yellowstone should go via Paradise Valley and enter thru Roosevelt Gate. I would stay at Mammoth Hot Springs but i imagine that thing books up months in advance.

Sugar Beach in St. Lucia was amazing in January. Not sure about how the weather is there in July though. That's peak season for Yellowstone/Grand Teton though. Pros and cons there with the traffic
