Golf is hard.
To be that talented and only have 1 career PGA win, 8 seconds, 3 thirds, 44 top 10s. Highest FedEx ranking 6th.
Currently getting kicked to the curb by Dylan Frittelli. 6&5.
Just wonder what is holding him back.
Who's your most talented "underachiever?"

Not that his career isn't good, but I really thought he had more wins. Billy Horschel has 5 career wins.

I kinda agree with ya Mike! I really like TF and honestly on talent alone i would say you’re right. He is probably one of the best ball strikers in the game and his length and strength are unbelievable. I think it’s a combo of underachieving and bad luck. His putting is atrocious and i think his mental game is pretty weak. But talent wise he’s one of the best. I think he will get it figured out and improve but as of right now, I’d have to agree.

I always thought he got way more coverage and accolades than his record deserved.

I think being Jim Nantz’s teammate really made Couples more of a fan favorite than most golfers.

Greg Norman won 2 majors and many in the media talk like Couples was head and shoulders above Norman.

Agreed. I don't think he should be in the hall of fame.

I think women’s golf has it right.

IF you win X majors and Y tournaments, you enter the hall.

The hall of fame for men’s golf should be 5 majors and 20 tournaments overall.

It is a hall of very good currently.

Nobody pumps him like they do couples.

Howell has quietly finished T7 more than anyone on earth.

So you think 20 guys ever should be in the hall of fame? That's an absurd take, Els, Milroy, and Ballesteros wouldn't be hall of famers.

Coulples should probably be in.

World number 1
Masters
2 Players
15 PGA Tour wins
13 Champions Tour wins including a couple of Majors.

So, who ya got?

Finau – 1 career PGA win, 8 seconds, 3 thirds, 44 top 10s. Highest FedEx ranking 6th.
Fowler – 5 career wins + 3 international, 14 second place, 7 third place, 72 top 10. Highest Fed-Ex rank 4th.

They are both struggling this year.
