He has to be convicted for one of the counts?
The prosecutors were smart to not just listen to the idiocy and only go for Murder 1. Or whatever Minnesota calls it.

What? I wasn't aware that he HAS to be convicted of SOMETHING. Why is that, exactly? When did our justice system start working like that?
