Sir, this is not a Wendy’s.

I think it's incredibly stupid for the government to require citizens to wear masks.
But once you step into a business, you need to follow their rules. Or you can go somewhere else. I heard that the virus can't possibly spread inside Wal Mart, Lowe's or Home Depot since no restrictions were placed on those businesses during the pandemic. Churches, restaurants, and small businesses were a no-go.
Science and all.

why someone would want to do business with a store that doesn't want you there is beyond me.

California sent all their crazies.

"I believe in freedom, except for the freedom for private businesses to enforce their own rules"

I am not in favor of masks. But damn, it is a business and they have every right to ask you to wear one on their property. Shut the frick up and comply.

When I worked the election we asked, but didn’t require people to wear a mask. Keep in mind that most election workers are retired older people. One 40 something lady told me that she wouldn’t wear one because of her beliefs like it was a Biblical thing.

I feel bad for that dude’s kids.

This gives me the most optimism I've had in a while.
He comes across as a typical California democrat but is expressing extreme desire for freedom and pushing back against what he views as OBVIOUS governmental interference of that freedom.
I didn't think these people existed. God bless him.

Goldennugget really looks bad.

What a loser using his kids as some type of shield. Grow the frick up.

frick Trader Joe’s. They wanted my 4 year old wear a mask the other day. “Mandate” is 8+. I won’t go back there til this shite is over.

Well, on one hand I totally get him being fed up and DONE with being a captive to the mask thing, and ready to get back to no masks, but on the other hand, just because the state drops their mandate, it does not mean that private business can’t have their own rules in place as a condition for you entering their private business. The two are quite different entirely.
And the good thing is, you just go somewhere else with your money and reward another grocery store that doesn’t mandate masks, and let the other one suck it up. That’s how this whole free market thing works, and that’s where your power is, in where you spend your money. You get a vote in it. Don’t spend your money with people you don’t agree with, one way or another. If enough people feel likewise, they’ll feel it, and they’re in business to make money. It will cause a change in policy, or they can go out of business. Their choice.

Trader Joe's is one of the most stringent enforcers of mask wearing. It's really not worth all their bullshite restrictions.

That guy sucks
If you're gonna make a scene at least wait until 3/10 when the state mandate is lifted

Best part is "What, are they gonna put COVID swabs up our butts now?"

“No shirt, no shoes, no service” has been a staple sign on the front door of restaurants for decades....and America seemed OK with it.
