I was going to create a new Thread but this one will work.
Saints started the off season at a historic $100m over and after Morstead we are still at $61m over
LINK /
How do we get this number down further?
Michael Thomas & Cam Jordan are obvious restructures.
We also have to do something at QB and will need to clear even more space. Still, I would love to retain Lattimore and maybe we can do that by back ending the money. Maybe extend Armstead and move money?
The Peat contract is killing us. His deal is untradeable. He has to restructure. I hate handing him cash cause he will just sit on the bench and count it. I wish we never made that deal.
Jenkins will either be traded, cut or restructured.
Still i have to think a trade we will HATE is inevitable to clear space. Malcolm Brown is obvious but i think someone else we love will be gone too.

The two deals that are killing the Saints right now are Peat and Hill.
